Netcool Webtop Training

This course is a 2-day introduction to installing and configuring all aspects of the Netcool Webtop product. The course covers subjects ranging from installation and basic setup to advanced HTML and XML file-based configuration.

Objectives / Certifications

The Webtop courses are intended for users who will be responsible for deploying the Webtop product and configuring new Web-based Event List views, Maps and associated Web pages.

Daily Schedule

Day 1: Introduction, Installation, User Administration, Creating Webtop Components and Maps
Day 2: Creating Charts, Using the Webtop Administration API, Localization, Creating Advanced Pages

Prerequisites

UNIX and scripting experience essential
Knowledge of SQL and Database concepts beneficial
Understanding of HTML and XML beneficial
Understaning of SNMP and Network/Service Management beneficial
