Netcool RAD Training

Eirteic offer 2 courses for the Netcool RAD (Real-time Active Dashboards) product; an initial 2-day RAD Fundamentals course covering product installation and basic configuration; and a 2-day RAD Advanced course covering more advanced and XML/file-based configuration aspects of the product.

Objectives / Certifications

These courses are designed for users responsible for product configuration such as Systems Integrators (SIs). Neither course is intended directly for end users.

Attendees of the course will be eligible to take the Netcool Certified Consultant certification.

Daily Schedule

RAD Fundamentals course:
Day 1: Product Overview, Installation, Introduction to Service Modeling, SLA Configuration
Day 2: User Configuration, Maintenance Windows, Introduction to RAD API, Failover, Introduction to Advanced Dashboards

RAD Advanced course:
Day 1: Dashboard Components, Custom Canvas
Day 2: Data Types and Custom Indicators, Organising RAD Views

Prerequisites

• UNIX and scripting experience essential
• Knowledge of SQL and Database concepts beneficial
• Understanding of XML beneficial
• Understanding of SNMP and Network/Service Management beneficial
