Maximo Consultant - Europe

Eirtec Consulting Ltd. is looking for a Maximo Certified Consultant to join our existing team. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years experience working in a Maximo EAM environment, and will be responsible for planning, testing, deploying and maintaining both existing and future Maximo implementations.

This role provides the opportunity to:

• Take real responsibility on delivering high quality solutions to major global Telecommunications, IT, Service Provider, Financial Services and Enterprise companies; and
• Develop technical, communication and project management skills in real-world environments.

The successful candidate(s) will be a self-starter with exceptional customer-facing skills and possess a desire to work on Eirteic's global projects. He/she will have a background in the Asset Management area.

Essential duties and responsibilities include the following:

• Perform analysis, provide "best practices" guidance;
• Assist in planning and upgrading of current Maximo deployments;
• Work closely with the client to troubleshoot and design solutions that meet their requirements;
• Accurately and effectively communicate with the Project Manager and/or Team Lead the level of effort to implement proposed solutions, the current status of on-going work, and any potential issues;
• Work well in both a team environment as well as a sole contributor with little or no supervision;
• Project Management and Team Lead experience;
• Possess excellent written and oral communication skills;
• Technical Account Management;
• Travel to work on projects on customer sites globally; and
• Other duties, as assigned.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related scientific or technical degree; or equivalent experience.

• Proven experience of analyzing, planning and implementing Maximo projects;
• Strong SQL knowledge including experience writing and deciphering complex SQL queries;
• Minimum 2 years of experience in configuration design, development and support of Maximo implementations;
• Knowledge of Relational Database Concepts; and
• Experience with J2EE Applications.

• IBM Certified Deployment Professional - Maximo V6 +;
• Additional IBM Tivoli product certification and a willingness to develop skills outside of the EAM space; and
• Ability to train junior team members and customers.
