Eirteic have been working with Federos & Ericsson to enable a Tier 1 US carrier* to implement the first production deployment of an NFV/SDN Closed Loop Service Assurance solution.
This is a solution which orchestrates network services for service creation, instantiation, decommissioning, scale in/out and monitoring. The solution also included integrations to multiple OpenStack environments, Cloud orchestration and Service order care systems. When a virtual service chain is requested, the Assure1** platform dynamically creates a matching service chain and watches the orchestration engine spin up the virtualized network services within their virtual containers.
Turned up services are then monitored as a complete “end to end” service for that a customer; this ensures that events within the complex tier of servers, virtual machines, and services are all correctly understood and modelled. When a problem occurs the customer impacts are correctly communicated to the Network Operations Centre. Eirteic have worked closely with VNF vendors to provide full virtual network device support to enable this deployment.

This video shows a fully production ready system that’s already deployed with a Tier 1 carrier.
The core software is Assure1 which is fully integrated with OpenStack and MANO to create end-to-end closed loop Service Assurance. Specific integrations for this solution were delivered by Eirteic.
This in not a separate version of Assure1, it is the single standard version that unifies traditional networks as well as these virtual ones.
